Permanent Lighting Installers
Your Permanent Outdoor Lighting System Partner
Professional-grade systems designed for faster, more reliable installations.
For permanent lighting installation companies and crews. Bring lights, tracks, controllers, power supplies and connection accessories into a documented package that your team can evaluate, install and service.
Start with the installation, then select the components
For permanent outdoor lights, the fixture is only one part of the job. Track fit, cable routing, branch layout, power and controller selection all affect the installation. G&D SMART helps you define these parts together before you repeat the configuration across more homes.
What this means for your business
| Installation need | Work with G&D SMART on | Practical benefit |
|---|---|---|
| A repeatable package | Fixture, mounting, connectors, extensions, power and controller bill of materials | A defined component list for purchasing and crew preparation |
| Fewer compatibility assumptions | Voltage, connector pinout, protocol, load and branch review | Identify configuration issues during sample evaluation |
| A clearer customer handover | App functions and the intended everyday controls | A consistent operating experience to explain to the homeowner |
| More outdoor applications | Spot, pathway, flood and wall-wash fixtures | An adjacent landscape offer to evaluate for your customer base |
| Service planning | Component identification, access, spare parts and replacement procedure | A documented starting point for troubleshooting and maintenance |
Evaluate one representative job first
- Share a roofline or landscape layout, photos, total length and branch arrangement.
- Select the fixture format, light effect and control requirements.
- Agree a sample configuration with mounting and wiring components.
- Check assembly, light effect, operation and service access with your crew.
- Record the approved configuration before ordering for repeat installations.
What to send us
Installation photos or a simple drawing, approximate length, preferred spacing, supply location, branch lengths and the number of projects you expect to complete.
Request a sample configuration or read the system planning guide.
Build a repeatable C5204 installation kit
Plan the light strings and track together, then add the extension cables, T power-injection connectors, Y connectors and signal boosters required by the route. Single-light strings provide individual replacement points; five-light strings provide pre-connected installation sections.
Include replacement components and the approved wiring drawing in your project handover. Record the controller and firmware so future support starts with the right configuration.
